Steps in the Application Process

Step 1

Screening Questions

  • Basic requirements of the job are discussed to determine if a candidate is qualified and if the candidate agrees to the requirements.
Step 2

Video Recorded Interview

  • Candidate records themselves answering a few questions (similar to an interview); this helps to determine an applicant’s skills, experiences, and if they have a good understanding of the job.
Step 3

Onboarding & Set Up Call

  • An Alpha teammate will reach out to the candidate to have a new email set up, get them added to the Amazon portal, and set up items that they need to complete in order to kick off the BGC and complete license verification.

Prehire Data Collection

  • Once BGC kicks off, the candidate will be sent the Pre-hire Data Form to fill out details for the Payroll System (includes basic information and secondary form of ID).

Drug Test

  • As soon as BGC Passed, the candidate will receive the QPassport email from Quest to take their drug test. Candidates are given 24-48 hours to take complete the drug test.

3-Day Driver Training

  • Once the candidate passes the drug test, an offer letter will be sent and they will be scheduled to the 3-Day Driver Training.
Step 7

Paycom

  • As soon as the candidate signs the offer letter and has a training schedule, they will now be added to Paycom and Workplace, our communication platform, and are expected to complete the required documents.

Day 1: DA Fundamentals, Safe Driving Course
Day 2: DA Fundamentals II, Delivery Execution
Day 3: DA Fundamental Behind the Wheel, Enhanced Road Test
